Hi there! I am Giovanna and welcome to my website.

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Insper (2025) and was a Visiting Student Research Collaborator at Princeton University in 2024. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in Economics at FGV EESP. I earned my B.A. in Economics from FECAP  in 2019 and have served as a teaching assistant for Econometrics I and Asset Pricing at Insper. My research is in Econometrics and Applied Microeconomics, with a focus on Development Economics, particularly the economics of crime, criminal justice institutions, gender, and public policy evaluation. I am a member of the LEME Lab (Laboratory for Violence Reduction) and GeFam  (Brazilian Family and Gender Economics Society), and I also serve as a referee for academic journal, including Estudos Econômicos (University of São Paulo - USP).

I have shared with you my T.A. Session notes in Econometrics I (Ph.D.) and Asset Pricing (Ph.D).
