Hi there! I am Giovanna and welcome to my website.
I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Insper (2025) and spent over a year at Princeton University as a Visiting Student Research Collaborator. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in Economics at FGV-EESP – São Paulo School of Economics. I earned my B.A. in Economics from FECAP in 2019 and I have taught Econometrics I and Asset Pricing at Insper. My research lies at the intersection of applied microeconomics and development economics, with a focus on crime, criminal justice institutions, gender, and public policy evaluation. I am a member of the LEME Lab (Laboratory for Violence Reduction) and GeFam (Brazilian Family and Gender Economics Society), and I also serve as a referee for academic journals, including Estudos Econômicos (published by the University of São Paulo - USP).
I have shared with you my teaching notes in Econometrics I (Ph.D.) and Asset Pricing (Ph.D).
